Nearly one million New York families who qualify will now be offered FREE tuition!
Under a new program that will be phased over the next three years in NY state – individuals from households that earn $100,000 or less are eligible to attend state colleges for free so long as they promise to stay in New York state after graduation.
A bachelor’s degree from state schools like CUNY or SUNY currently cost around $6,500 a year while New York state community college costs $4,500.
