The 47-year-old talented screenwriter and producer has a new project in the works that will have fans of her hit ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ SQUEALING with joy! It’s a direct spinoff of Grey’s follows a group of heroic Seattle firefighters. Synopsis: “From the captain to the newest recruit, the show revolves around these brave men and women as they risk their lives and their hearts both in the line of duty and off the clock.”
ABC Entertainment President Channing Dungey says in a statement: “No one can interweave the jeopardy firefighters face in the line of duty with the drama in their personal lives quite like Shonda, and Grey’s signature Seattle setting is the perfect backdrop for this exciting spinoff.” In 2007 Shonda debuted another ‘Grey’s’ spinoff titled ‘Private Practice’ which followed Doctor Addison Montgomery when she left Seattle to practice in LA!
