Pepsi has just pulled a controversial commercial starring Kendall Jenner!
In the clip which has been removed from Youtube and other social networks (but you can still watch here) – Kendall is shown joining a group of protesters after doing a glamorous photoshoot!
The ad has been widely mocked resulting in the pull and an official statement from the brand reading: “Pepsi was trying to project a global message of unity, peace and understanding. Clearly, we missed the mark, and we apologize. We did not intend to make light of any serious issue. We are pulling the content and halting any further rollout. We also apologize for putting Kendall Jenner in this position.” Pepsi have been accused of appropriating the resistance for their commercial purpose.
