Tom Cruise, the man who has been running in every movie since the dawn of time, was one of the first people to catch a glimpse of DC’s upcoming movie, The Flash!
Now, we all know that The Flash has been delayed and moved around on the release schedule like a game of musical chairs, but fear not my friends, as it is finally set to arrive in the summer of 2023.
But let me tell you, Tom couldn’t wait that long to see the speedster in action. No way, Jose! According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tom begged Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav to grant him an advanced screening of The Flash, after it was hyped up during a conversation they had.
And guess what? The man got what he wanted! The screening was ferried back and forth by the company, all the way to Tom’s home sweet home. But alas, despite only being able to watch it through once, Tom was blown away by the flick.
Apparently, the Top Gun star was so impressed that he reached out to director Andy Muschietti to shower the release with praises, calling it “everything you want in a movie” and “the kind of movie we need now.”
Well, well, well, The Flash is all set for its grand premiere on June 16, folks. So, hold onto your seats and get ready for a wild ride with the trailer below!
