A new report around the birth of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s son Archie states that his dad Harry was “almost morbidly obsessed” with keeping the birth as big a secret as possible.
In her new book titled ‘The New Royals: Queen Elizabeth’s Legacy and the Future of the Crown,’ royal expert Katie Nicholl alleges: “One source described Harry as being ‘almost morbidly obsessed’ with keeping Archie’s birth as secret as possible.”
This reach for secrecy breached an “unwritten contract between the royals and the public” as the public were obviously eager to hear all about the new royal baby Meghan gave birth to. When Archie was born, Meghan and Harry didn’t make the exact birth date public, with Nicholl adding: “Harry had always enjoyed outfoxing the media. He and Meghan were thrilled to be safely delivered of their son in London’s private Portland hospital even before the palace press office had confirmed the duchess was in labor.”
