Now according to a source Phil Anschutz who owns the Coachella Festival through AEG Live wants to pay The Weeknd much less, with the rest of the money going to the festival’s operations…Update: things have turned in The Weeknd’s favor as Anshutz’s company has agreed to pay The Weeknd the same fee as Kanye West.
