47-year-old ‘Lies That Chelsea Handler Told Me’ author Chelsea Handler is taking some legal action against the lingerie company known as ThirdLove – FOR BREACHING THEIR CONTRACT!
Chelsea alleges that they have failed to pay her more than $1 million for an advertising campaign she partook in and in official court documents Chelsea filed at the Superior Court of California in LA County – she alleges that she and ThirdLove entered into a one-year which had her “exclusively promote the ThirdLove brand in exchange for compensation of $1,060,000, plus expenses.” Chelsea claims she advertised ThirdLove, created a custom-made fitness program for them, met with the company’s executives and sat in on calls with ThirdLove, and even attended wardrobe fittings!!
Chelsea goes on further to state that she’s suffered more than $1.5 million in damages and is looking for ThirdLove to pay the full amount of the outstanding contract, as well as the “monies she spent out of her own pocket” based on the agreement. Chelsea also wants compensation for the income she’s lost out on after declining partnerships with other athleisure brands…SAD.
