70-year-old ‘Tonight Show’ host Jay Leno is apologizing for ‘Anti-Asian’ jokes he’s made throughout his career.
Amid the anti-Asian shooting that took place at a spa in Atlanta, Joe said he was sorry for past jokes he’s made at the expense of the Asian community…during a Zoom Call with Guy Aoki, leader of the Media Action Network for Asian Americans, Leno said: “At the time I did those jokes, I genuinely thought them to be harmless. I was making fun of our enemy North Korea, and like most jokes, there was a ring of truth to them.”
Leno’s jokes in the past have resulted in Aoki’s organization – the Media Action Network for Asian Americans – to campaign NBC to cut ties completely with him (Jay) …Leno has even made fun of Koreans eating dog meat in as recent as of 2019…let us know:…DO YOU FORGIVE HIM (JAY) ??!
