A$AP Rocky had one wild ride to the Met Gala this year!
The rapper was caught on camera trying to make his way into the Carlyle Hotel before the event, but he ended up stuck behind a barricade with no way of getting to the entrance. So what did he do? Did he give up and go home? Did he call for backup? Nope, he did the only logical thing: he decided to climb over the crowd like some kind of human spiderman!
In a video that quickly went viral, A$AP can be seen jumping over the barricade and even accidentally pushing his hand onto a woman named Maddy’s face, knocking her glasses off in the process. Oopsie! Maddy took to Twitter to share the unbelievable moment, saying: “ASAP Rocky just literally jumped over me.”
And guess who responded to her tweet? None other than A$AP himself! The rapper apologized for squishing her face and even followed her on Twitter. Talk about making amends! Maddy couldn’t believe it, writing: “Why is asap now oomf?” (That’s “one of my followers,” for those not in the know.)
But Maddy didn’t stop there. She even joked about making A$AP’s apology into a t-shirt. Hey, if you can’t beat ’em, join ’em, right?
All in all, it was a wild and wacky journey for A$AP Rocky and Maddy. Who knows what adventures await them next? All we can say is, keep your eyes peeled and your glasses secure!
