We’ve finally caught a glimpse of THE Linda Hamilton (yes, the Terminator legend herself!) on the set of Stranger Things, and it’s giving major “I’ll be back” vibes. Spotted in full military getup, she was ready to wage war… against what, you ask? Upside Down monsters? A Demogorgon with a bad attitude? Will Byers’ haircut? No clue yet.
The 68-year-old queen of butt-kicking was seen filming on Wednesday (October 16) in Palmetto, Georgia, right in front of the WSQK Radio station set. What’s her character? No idea! But judging by the fatigues and her “I’ve-seen-some-things” expression, she’s probably not here to DJ smooth jazz. My money’s on her being the one to ground Eleven for staying out too late or shouting, “Get in the van, kid! We’ve got monsters to squish.”
This is the first real peek we’ve had of Linda on set, and oh boy, it will have you frantically refreshing Netflix’s page until the release date drops.
Season 5 of Stranger Things has been in production all year long, so those kids have probably outgrown their bikes at this point. When will it drop? Hopefully next year (unless some Demodog chews up the film reels).
Oh, and did I mention this is the FINAL season? Yep. The curtain’s closing on Hawkins after this one. But if Linda Hamilton’s involved, we know it’s going out with a bang. Maybe even an explosion or two. Stay tuned, stream-queens, because Netflix is bound to hit us with official updates soon!
