Nicki Minaj’s claims that the cops targeted her because of her race are getting roasted harder than a Thanksgiving turkey … with the police organization calling her out on her version of the events.
The Dutch Military Police decided to put on their fact-checking hats after Nicki’s recent live stream on Stationhead, a popular social media app. Nicki didn’t hold back, asserting that the cops singled her out because she’s part of a “confident other race.”
You’ve got to watch the video below for Nicki’s full rant… she didn’t just play the race card; she pulled out the sexism card too. She mentioned that during the incident, she only interacted with one woman, who happened to be the only decent person there.
Well, the military police weren’t about to let that slide. They responded to the broadcast organization NOS, claiming they had every reason to arrest her, mainly because they found what could only be described as a herbal apocalypse in her bags – dozens of joints.
Adding a cherry on top of their rebuttal sundae, a department spokesperson remarked that they thought the whole situation was smoother than a jazz saxophonist in silk pajamas, and then zinged Nicki for playing the “race card” like it was a bad hand in poker.
Robert Kappel, the spokesperson extraordinaire, told TMZ that her racial profiling accusations were, in his words, “annoying.” It seems her comments were about as welcome as a skunk at a lawn party.
In case you missed it, Nicki had to pull the plug on her show in Manchester, England last weekend because the arrest threw her schedule into a blender, making it impossible for her to perform. She’s promised to make it up to her fans with a rescheduled show on Monday, June 3.
