The 31-year-old rap queen, best known for making us want to yell “okurrr” at random strangers, took to Instagram on Thursday (Sept. 12) to drop the bombshell: She and her “kinda-sorta, are-they-back-together?” husband Offset have just welcomed their third bundle of joy this past weekend!
In classic Cardi fashion, she captioned the big reveal with, “The prettiest lil thing 🌸🌸 9/7/24 💖💖💖,” which, in Cardi-speak, is probably code for “prepare yourself for overwhelming cuteness.” While the official baby stats (name, weight, astrological sign, future rap career projections) are still under wraps, internet detectives were quick to point out the pink explosion in the baby’s wardrobe, leading to wild speculation that the couple just had a baby girl. You know it’s serious when Instagram goes full Sherlock Holmes over a onesie.
For those keeping score at home, this new addition brings Cardi and Offset’s adorable kid count to three. They already share daughter Kulture, 6, who’s basically a celebrity in her own right, and their 3-year-old son, Wave, who sounds like he’s ready to surf through life with swagger.
