Freshly landed in Australia, they weren’t alone in this grand arrival: Cynthia Erivo and Marissa Bode, their Wicked co-stars, joined them in this Down Under adventure. While most people travel to Sydney for beaches or BBQ, these four are here to start a worldwide ‘Wicked’ press tour in style.
Ari’s Insta story summed up her excitement: “First stop… Oz. Thank you for the warmest welcome !!!!!” she wrote, with all the extra exclamation points needed to match her excitement level. She even had a pink bag with a “G” initial, just in case anyone forgot she was playing Glinda. Iconic!
Both Ariana and Cynthia strutted out in some subtle costume teasers for their characters—Ari rocking all pink for Glinda, while Cynthia went full green to rep Elphaba. No word yet if Cynthia plans to turn emerald for press tours, but with these two, anything’s possible.
