Billy Ray Cyrus Reacts to Miley’s Grammys Win Like a Proud Dad (and Maybe a Little Like a Man Who Just Found Out He’s Trending Again)

Buy Me A Coffee

Billy Ray Cyrus has put aside the family drama (for now) to do what all dads do best—post a semi-awkward but well-intentioned Instagram congratulations to their wildly successful offspring.

The mullet legend himself took to the ‘Gram to give a big ol’ yeehaw to daughter Miley Cyrus after she snagged a Grammy alongside Beyoncé at the 2025 awards. The duo won Best Country Duo/Group Performance for their song II Most Wanted, proving once again that Beyoncé can literally do anything, and Miley is continuing her world domination.

Billy Ray, 63, kept it short and sweet, writing:

“Congratulations @mileycyrus and @beyonce on their well-deserved @recordingacademy Grammy wins! Couldn’t be prouder!!!”

Miley even hit that little heart button, which in the world of celebrity family feuds is basically the equivalent of a long, heartfelt conversation over coffee.

But Wait… The Cyrus Family Saga Continues
Of course, this heartwarming father-daughter moment comes in the middle of a family storyline juicier than a country song about lost love and bad decisions.

Just days ago, Billy Ray’s eldest son, Trace Cyrus, posted an open letter (always a sign that things are going great) begging his dad to seek help. This came after Billy Ray’s, uh, memorable performance at a Trump inauguration event that had people clutching their pearls—and possibly their legal documents.

Trace, 35, then got into a full-on sibling showdown with younger brother Braison Cyrus, because why not? If the Kardashians get to have family drama as entertainment, the Cyruses are clearly ready to give them a run for their money.

And just when you thought this saga couldn’t get any wilder—Trace then claimed Billy Ray was threatening legal action against him. That’s right, this family is giving us a real-life episode of Succession, but with cowboy boots and guitars.

Meanwhile, Miley is just out here winning Grammys, hanging with Beyoncé, and probably wondering if she should start a reality show called Keeping Up with the Cyruses.

Stay tuned—because if there’s one thing we know, it’s that the Cyrus family keeps us entertained, whether they mean to or not.
