Whoopi Goldberg is stepping into the fabulous fashion ring to defend Dolly Parton’s wardrobe extravaganza!
So, picture this: Thanksgiving Day, NFL’s halftime show, Cowboys vs. Commanders, and there’s Dolly, the 77-year-old dynamo, strutting her stuff on stage like she’s about to conquer the world. What’s she wearing, you ask? Well, brace yourselves. It’s a Cowboys cheerleader uniform that’s basically a fashion mic drop. We’re talking a blue crop top, a vest so tiny it’s practically microscopic, and shorts shorter than a Monday.
Now, fast forward to Monday’s episode of The View. Whoopi, with all the sass of a diva defending her queen, had some choice words for the naysayers who dared criticize Dolly’s daring outfit.
“Seventy-seven-year-old superstar Dolly Parton just owned Thanksgiving at the Cowboys-Commanders game, rocking the Dallas Cowboys cheerleader look. But oh no, here come the critics telling her to act her age. Bite me! Seriously, everybody giving her flak for this, take a good look in the mirror and ask yourself, ‘Could I pull that off?'”
And just when you thought the party was over, co-host Sunny Hostin chimed in with her two cents, or should we say, her two laughs.
“If I looked half as good in one of those Cowboys getups, I might accidentally have everything out on display. I don’t know if it’s a belly ring or a new-age fashion statement, but whatever it is, sign me up! Dolly, you’ve got it going on!”
Who needs turkey when you’ve got Dolly serving up the hottest Thanksgiving dish in a Cowboys cheerleader uniform? As for the critics, maybe they just need a dose of Dolly’s fashion fearlessness to spice up their lives.
