In case you’ve been living under a rock, let me remind you: Mindy played the unforgettable Kelly Kapoor until the series wrapped up in 2013. Yep, it’s been that long since we last heard Kelly’s signature “Ryan!”
Guess what? There’s a spinoff series brewing, like a pot of questionable office coffee! Two stars have already signed on, and the show is set to start filming this summer. Cue the confetti and awkward dance moves!

Chatting with People in 10, Mindy got real. “Nothing’s set in stone right now,” she said. “But never say never! It’s been so long since I slipped into Kelly’s leopard-print pumps, I might need a refresher. Not that I’m method or anything, but I’m thinking, ‘How would Kelly navigate life now? At my age? Probably with even more sass and over-the-top outfits!’”
Mindy didn’t stop there. “Of course I’d be up for it,” she gushed. “For that crew, I’d be there in a heartbeat.”
While she admitted she’s out of the loop on the behind-the-scenes deets, Mindy is optimistic. “Whatever they’re cooking up, it’s bound to be epic,” she said confidently.
