Michael Strahan’s daughter, Isabella, just got news so exciting, it might make even the stoic statues of Mount Rushmore crack a smile!
Earlier this year, Isabella, the 19-year-old offspring of the famous TV host, shared some less-than-fun news. In October 2023, she was diagnosed with medulloblastoma, which sounds like a villain in a superhero movie but is actually a common malignant tumor that pops up in the cerebellum, a part of the brain. Ever the fighter, she documented her battle in a series of vlogs that would make even the toughest of us reach for the tissues.
But hold on to your hats, because Thursday (July 18) brought a plot twist straight out of a feel-good movie. Isabella dropped a new video like a surprise album, announcing that she had finished her treatment and was now cancer-free! Cue the confetti and dance moves!
“Great scans, everything was clear. Cancer-free,” Isabella declared on YouTube, likely causing an instant spike in worldwide happy dances. “Everything is great. I don’t have another doctor’s appointment until October.”
In a twist that could melt the coldest of hearts, she added that she would actually miss the people she met during her treatment.
“They’re all so nice,” she explained, probably tearing up more than one of her viewers. “I feel like I’m just saddened today knowing that I wasn’t going to be going back for a while ’cause I love them so much.”
