Michael B. Jordan and Hailee Steinfeld rolled up to Mexico City looking like a fiery fashion duo in matching shades of red. Were they making a statement? Were they subtly hinting that theyโre the real sinners here? We may never know.
The occasion? A photo call for their new movie Sinners, which means lots of brooding looks, dramatic poses, and answering the same three questions in 27 different ways.
Joining them for the press tour kickoff were co-stars Wunmi Mosaku and Miles Caton, plus the man behind the madnessโwriter/director Ryan Coogler.
Michael B. Jordan, who we assume is contractually obligated to take at least one suave group selfie per press tour, delivered. He shared the gangโs arrival pic on Instagram, captioning it:
โAnnie, Mary, Smoke, Stack, and Sammie have arrived in Mexico ๐ฒ๐ฝ #SinnersMovieโ
(Are these character names? Nicknames? A secret crime-fighting squad? Again, mysteries.)
Whatโs Sinners About, Anyway?
Great question! Picture this: Twin brothers (both played by Jordan, because letโs be honest, the man could play all the roles and we wouldnโt complain) try to turn over a new leaf and leave their sketchy past behind.
BUT WAITโplot twist! Something even worse is waiting for them in their old hometown. Spooky. Sinister. Just vague enough to keep us intrigued.
The film also stars Jack OโConnell, Jayme Lawson, Omar Benson Miller, and Delroy Lindoโbecause every movie needs at least one Delroy Lindo to keep things classy.
Mark your calendars: Sinners hits theaters April 18th!
The Fashion Report: Who Wore What
Because letโs face it, half the reason we care about press tours is the lewkz:
๐ Michael B. Jordan rocked an effortlessly cool Prada ensemble, probably looking like a walking cologne ad.
๐ Hailee Steinfeld stunned in a The New Arrivals dress, sky-high Christian Louboutin heels, and Anita Ko jewelryโbecause looking fabulous is also part of the job.
๐ Wunmi Mosaku came through in a chic Harbison Studio look paired with Alexandre Birman shoes.
The Sinners tour has officially begun, and if this first stop is any indication, weโre in for an exciting (and stylish) ride. Now, letโs just hope nobody actually sins too much on the wayโฆ ๐
