Breaking news from the land of stars and diapers! Mandy Moore, the queen of both tear-jerking performances and successful baby-making, has just expanded her brood once again. That’s right, the 40-year-old This Is Us star and her husband, Taylor Goldsmith, have unlocked the next level of parenting—baby number three! This time, they’ve welcomed a tiny new boss in the form of a baby girl.
Mandy took to social media (because that’s where all important birth announcements happen these days) and declared: “Lou is here!” Yes, her full name is Louise Everett Goldsmith, but let’s face it, babies rarely respond to full names unless they’re in trouble. Mandy added that little Lou arrived “happy, healthy, expeditiously, and just in time for Virgo season.” I mean, obviously, she’s a punctual Virgo. Even in the womb, she was probably organizing her exit plan.
Moore continued, gushing, “She is our absolute dream girl.” Which is code for, “She sleeps through the night, right? Please say she sleeps through the night.” Lou’s big brothers, Gus (3) and Ozzie (soon to be 2), are reportedly just as obsessed with their new sister as their parents are. Translation: The boys have likely already tried to gift her their favorite toys, snacks, and possibly a renegade Lego or two. But it’s all love!
Mandy also expressed her endless gratitude for her family of 5, proudly boasting her very own “Big Three.” Clearly inspired by her hit show, she’s now living the This Is Us plotline IRL, just with less drama and (hopefully) fewer tearful monologues.
