Cher has some thoughts about her boyfriend Alexander “A.E.” Edwards’ recent fisticuffs at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival, and they’re as iconic as you’d expect.
In case you missed the drama (were you living under a rock?), the music mogul threw down with none other than Travis Scott and his producer buddy Southside at a post-amfAR Cannes Gala bash. Oh, the glitz! The glamour! The surprise left hook!
Our Goddess of Pop, Cher, took to social media on Saturday (June 1) to spill the tea in her own fabulous way.
On X (formerly known as Twitter, but who are we kidding? It’ll always be Twitter to us), Cher sang her man’s praises like only she can.
“I’m proud of Alexander,” she posted. “He didn’t start the fight against 2 men,… He finished it, Gotta love him.” Imagine the scene: Cher with pom-poms, doing high kicks. We stan a supportive queen!
And as if that wasn’t enough, A.E. himself piped up, playing it cooler than a polar bear in sunglasses.
“No hard feelings,” he shrugged. “It is how it is, it went how it went, that’s it.” And then, with the comedic timing of a seasoned stand-up, he quipped about his bodyguard having the night off. Honestly, A.E., can we book you for our next dinner party?
Cher and A.E. have once again proven that they’re the most unbothered, coolest couple in Tinseltown. And let’s face it, if Cher approves, so do we.
