Surprise, surprise! Machine Gun Kelly has officially entered his “Rockstar Dad 2.0” era—and what better place to debut it than at Coachella, aka the music festival where celebrities go to wear mesh shirts and pretend they’re not famous?
The 34-year-old “Emo Girl” crooner (a.k.a. the human version of a Hot Topic gift card, Colson Baker) materialized onstage at Coachella 2025 on Friday like a goth fairy godfather. One minute the crowd was vibing, the next—bam—MGK was up there yelling lyrics and flipping his hair like he just escaped from a vampire boyband.
He wasn’t alone, though. No, sir. He teamed up with his bestie Travis Barker (drummer, tattoo enthusiast, and part-time Kardashian-in-law), plus Three 6 Mafia, to deliver one explosive performance of “Hit a Muthaf—-” that left everyone’s edges both snatched and slightly confused.
Spoiler alert: MGK was only up there for that one song. Then, like Batman in skinny jeans, he vanished into the desert winds, probably to go FaceTime his new baby girl.
Oh yeah—did we mention he just welcomed a brand new human with his ex, Megan Fox? Yep. On March 27, the duo welcomed a baby girl into the world, making MGK a dad for the second time. And what better way to celebrate than by shouting profanities onstage while Travis Barker aggressively drums nearby?
Coachella 2025: Come for the music, stay for the postpartum punk rock energy.
