Lindsay Lohan’s Parent Trap nemesis, Elaine Hendrix, just snuck into the Freakier Friday trailer like a ninja in designer heels!
In a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it (or pause-and-rewind-20-times) moment, Elaine, 54, casually pops up at the 1:18 mark of the trailer, rocking a white button-down shirt and black tie like a very fashionable maître d’. She’s standing next to Never Have I Ever star Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, who also seems to be undercover as restaurant staff. Are they serving drama? Mystery? Leftover breadsticks? We don’t know yet, but we’re intrigued.
This cameo was top-secret—like, Disney-level classified. No press releases. No social media hints. Not even a suspicious “Oops, I left the script on my coffee table” paparazzi moment. Elaine just materialized, much like how Meredith Blake probably would if she ever heard the words “trust fund.”
For those living under a rock (or just too young to have experienced peak ‘90s cinematic gold), Elaine and Lindsay previously battled it out in 1998’s The Parent Trap, where Elaine played Meredith Blake, the ultimate fabulous villain trying to become Lindsay’s evil stepmom. Spoiler alert: The twins (both played by Lindsay, because she was that girl) won.
