Kelly Clarkson Celebrates 1,000 Episodes of Her Talk Show, Admits She’s ‘Lost, Alone, A Lot’ (Same, Kelly, Same)

Kelly Clarkson just hit a major milestone, and she’s feeling ALL the feels.

After a few recent absences (probably off somewhere belting her emotions into the void like the rest of us), the 42-year-old legend of singing AND talking returned to The Kelly Clarkson Show on Thursday (March 20) to mark a jaw-dropping 1,000 episodes of pure Kelly chaos.

“Welcome to The Kelly Clarkson Show and our 1,000th episode!” Kelly announced, probably with the same energy as someone realizing they’ve been binge-watching Netflix for 12 hours straight.

She reminded us that her show kicked off on September 9, 2019, when the world was a simpler place—before masks, before Zoom fatigue, and before we had to pretend we understood NFTs. In the five-and-a-half years since, she and her team have cranked out 999 episodes, proving that, yes, Kelly Clarkson has more stamina than the rest of us combined.

A Walk Down Memory Lane (Cue the Emotional Montage)
Taking a moment to reflect (as one does when they hit a major milestone or accidentally read their old Facebook posts), Kelly looked back on some of the show’s biggest moments—chatting with celebrities, celebrating everyday heroes, and, of course, moving the entire operation to New York City, where she now coexists with rats that pay rent.

“For 1,000 episodes, we have laughed together, cried together, sang with some very talented people (and also some brave ones), danced awkwardly, celebrated wins, and even engaged in some friendly competition,” she shared. (Read: She’s been running this thing like the best summer camp ever.)

And then, in peak Kelly Clarkson keeps-it-real mode, she admitted:

“I’ve lost, alone, a lot.”

Sis, SAME.

But don’t worry, she wasn’t just reminiscing about all the times she lost her car in a parking lot or got ghosted by DoorDash. She meant that through all the ups and downs, this show has been a source of connection, comfort, and community.

Wrapping up her speech, Kelly gave a heartfelt shoutout to everyone who has been a part of the ride, saying, “It has been such a cool time.”

And honestly? We couldn’t agree more.

Congrats, Kelly! Here’s to 1,000 more episodes of controlled chaos, epic covers, and making us all feel seen.
