In a plot twist better than any Stars Hollow drama, Lauren Graham and Kelly Bishop have reunited! Yes, it’s true. The dynamic duo behind everyone’s favorite mother-daughter pair from Gilmore Girls have graced us with their presence once more.
On Friday (June 28), Lauren took to Instagram (because where else do celebrities make grand announcements?) to post a selfie with Kelly Bishop. The two were enjoying a classy lunch, probably discussing the best way to dodge Taylor Doose’s town meetings. The picture was captioned, “Here’s to the ladies who lunch. #Kelly,” showing that even in their selfies, they keep it fabulously cryptic and chic.
For those of you who’ve been living under a rock or, worse, without Wi-Fi, Lauren and Kelly played Lorelai and Emily Gilmore on the iconic show Gilmore Girls. This masterpiece aired from 2000 to 2007 and later returned in 2016 for the Netflix mini-series Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, which we all binge-watched while contemplating the eternal question: Team Dean, Jess, or Logan?
