Jennifer Tilly is diving headfirst into the wild, wild world of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills! That’s right, the 65-year-old Bride of Chucky star has traded in her killer doll for some killer drama, joining the Bravo reality show as a “Friend” for its 14th season, currently in the works.
In a recent chitchat on the It Happened in Hollywood podcast, Jennifer spilled the tea on why she’s absolutely quaking in her boots about this new gig.
“Oh my god, it’s insane,” Jennifer gushed. “It’s, like, scarier than Chucky. I’ll tell you that.”
We can almost hear Chucky laughing from his box, can’t we?
“I’m not a Housewife,” Jennifer clarified. “I’m a Friend, though, which is a lot easier. You just dip in and out. You try to avoid, like, flying shrapnel. And you know, if drinks are thrown, I have good reflexes.”
You heard it here first—Jennifer Tilly is ready to dodge wine glasses like Neo in The Matrix.
Her Bound co-star Gina Gershon also hopped on the podcast and shared her own feelings about the Housewives’ arena.
“They approached me,” said Gina, 62. “I was too scared.”
We can’t really blame her. It’s like stepping into a reality TV Thunderdome.
Despite her own reservations, Gina is all in on Team Tilly.
“You know what? You’re gonna be genius on that,” Gina told Jennifer. “You’ll take over that whole set, Jen. I have no doubt. I’d actually even watch it with you on it!”
