The Church of Pop just gained a new scripture and it’s called “FAST.” Hallelujah and pass the e-meter.
Demi Lovato just time-traveled straight out of a dance-pop wormhole and dropped “Fast” — her first single of 2025 and honestly? It’s giving Thetan Level X.
The track slammed into planet Earth on August 1 like a glitter-covered meteor, accompanied by a music video directed by Daniel Sachon that looks like it was filmed inside a speeding spaceship fueled by Red Bull, regret, and 2003 Paris Hilton vibes.
And lemme tell you:
Demi did NOT come to play. She came to accelerate your Operating Thetan level through song.

Co-written with Chloe Angelides, Jake Torrey, and Zhone (who apparently sprinkled the track with gay pop fairy dust from working with Kesha, Troye Sivan, AND Kylie Minogue), “Fast” is the sonic equivalent of being shot out of a confetti cannon into a rave on Mars.
Zhone spilled that the album is all about “letting inhibitions go” — so basically it’s what happens when your suppressive thoughts get body-checked off the Bridge to Total Freedom.
Oh and by the way? This is Demi’s ninth studio album. Nine. As in the number of lives a cat has. As in the number of times I’ve screamed “SHE’S BACK” since pressing play. As in “why haven’t you listened to it yet?!”
