The 31-year-old star of Only Murders in the Building graced the 2024 Cannes Film Festival, looking like she stepped straight out of a fairy tale and onto the red carpet. Sporting a custom Giambattista Valli haute couture creation, she wowed at the Emilia Perez photocall on Sunday, May 19th, in the beautiful city of Cannes, France.
Selena rocked a custom red rose silk duchesse A-line bustier tea-length dress that screamed “I’m fabulous!”—not to mention those handmade silk organza roses embroidered on the décolleté that had everyone whispering, “Who’s her florist?”
And wait till you hear about this movie! The plot of Emilia Perez goes like this: “Picture Mexico, in the present day. Lawyer Rita gets the job offer of a lifetime—to help a notorious cartel boss retire and vanish, all while transforming into the woman he’s always dreamed of being.” Sounds like a telenovela on steroids!
Selena wasn’t flying solo at the event. She was flanked by her dazzling co-stars Zoe Saldana, Edgar Ramirez, Karla Sofia Gascon, and the man behind the magic, director Jacques Audiard. Together, they turned the photocall into a glamour showdown. Cannes won’t know what hit it!
