Cardi B is doing a happy dance because she’s finally done playing hide-and-seek with her baby bump!
Last week, the 31-year-old rapper of “Press” fame made a big announcement that she and her ex-hubby Offset are gearing up for baby number three. They’re already running a mini-daycare with their 6-year-old daughter Kulture and their 2-year-old son Wave.
After dropping the baby bombshell, Cardi decided to let loose on X (formerly known as Twitter, because apparently we can’t just have nice things anymore). She couldn’t resist making a joke about her previous attempts to keep her pregnancy under wraps.
“I’m so thrilled you all know I’m 🤰🏻 now! No more pretending my bump is just a food baby so I can ditch those ridiculous schoolgirl skirts lmaoooooo 😂 😂” Cardi tweeted, probably still chuckling at her fashion faux pas.
Before the big reveal, Cardi had been employing some creative camouflaging techniques to keep her bump on the down-low. She was spotted rocking pleated, high-waisted miniskirts and oversized outfits, strategically placing handbags in front of her stomach like a very conspicuous shield.
Just hours before Cardi made her pregnancy public, it was also revealed that she and Offset, 32, had called it quits after over six years of marital bliss. So it seems Cardi’s life is a full-on sitcom right now—who needs TV drama when you’ve got real-life plot twists like these?
