Benson Boone just hit Coachella 2025 like a glitter cannon in a library.
The 22-year-old crooner behind “Beautiful Things” (and quite possibly the prettiest set of cheekbones to ever hold a microphone) made his big Coachella debut on Friday, April 11, in the very extra, very sunburn-prone land of Indio, California.
Now, you’d think just showing up to Coachella would be enough. But Benson said “nah,” and decided to blow our collective minds by teaming up with actual guitar god Brian May of Queen. Yes, THE Brian May. Together, they performed Bohemian Rhapsody because apparently, Benson’s bucket list is on fast-forward.
But wait—THERE’S MORE.
After melting faces and possibly a few phone batteries, Benson grabbed the mic like a true drama king and said:
“I’ve got one more announcement to make. This is less like one song and more like 10.”
Translation: NEW ALBUM INCOMING.
Mark your planners, diaries, forehead tattoos — “American Heart” drops June 20, 2025!
To sweeten the surprise, he immediately launched into the album’s title track, giving the crowd a little taste of what’s coming. Spoiler alert: it slaps.
In case you missed the origin story, Benson almost became an American Idol in 2021, but pulled a graceful Irish exit from the show. Plot twist? He ended up doing his own thing and dropped his debut album Fireworks & Rollerblades in April 2024, because why not name an album after two things you shouldn’t mix?
And now, with “American Heart” on the way and a Coachella moment for the history books, it’s safe to say Benson Boone is no longer rising — he’s soaring. Like a majestic eagle… wearing skinny jeans.
Stay tuned, stay hydrated, and maybe pre-order that album before your cool friend does. 💿✨
