The 31-year-old actor revealed that if it weren’t for this dream gig, he and the 28-year-old model would already be blissfully married, eating overpriced wedding cake, and arguing over which towels to monogram.
The Proposal… and Immediate Bail
During The Drew Barrymore Show, Patrick spilled the tea, saying, “A year and a half ago, we got engaged. It was this amazing, magical moment. And then—BOOM! A few days later, I booked White Lotus.”
Translation: “Abby, I love you, but… Thailand calls.”
He continued, “I know we were all excited about getting married this year, but we’re gonna have to hit pause. Because, um, HBO.”
