Andy Cohen is coming to the rescue for none other than Jennifer Lopez.
After her This Is Me… Live Tour got the axe, the 54-year-old superstar has been catching more flak than a bad joke at a comedy club, with critics calling her rude and “unlikable.”
On the Friday (June 21) episode of his Daddy Diaries Podcast, Andy, 56, jumped in to defend Jenny from the Block against the haters.
“I don’t buy it,” Andy said about the “mean” comments swirling around Jennifer.
In a move that would make a best friend proud, Andy clapped back at a buddy who claimed J.Lo has “pissed off a lot of people” by bragging about her four guest spots on his Bravo show, Watch What Happens Live.
“Zero drama,” Andy declared about Jennifer‘s WWHL visits. “[She] wasn’t late, wasn’t diva-like. [She] showed up, played along, nailed the show. I mean, just a total sport. I could chat with her about anything.”
Andy didn’t stop there. He heaped on the praise for Jennifer’s performance chops, saying she “puts on a capital S show.”
“It’s like people are annoyed with her for just being awesome,” he added.
