Wendy Williams is back on the scene, and New York City better be ready!
The former talk show queen, 60, was spotted zipping around the Big Apple on Saturday (March 15), just weeks after being taken from her assisted living facility for a hospital evaluation during a welfare check. But guess what? Wendy said, “I’m good,” and kept it moving.
Ever the diva, Wendy rolled up to The Pendry Hotel in Manhattan on a red mobility scooter—because if you’re going to make a comeback, do it in style. Then, in true Wendy fashion, she gracefully (read: fabulously) ditched the scooter and strutted her way into the backseat of a waiting vehicle. Paparazzi, eat your hearts out!
Not one to leave fans hanging, Wendy phoned into The View on March 14 to drop a health update straight from the queen herself.
“It was my choice to get an independent evaluation on my incapacitation, which—spoiler alert—I don’t have it,” Wendy declared, adding that she’s currently “alcohol-free.” Take that, haters!
ICYMI: Back in February 2024, it was revealed that Wendy had been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and aphasia. Meanwhile, she’s been locked in a legal showdown with her court-appointed guardian, Sabrina Morrissey.
Sabrina claims Wendy is “cognitively impaired, permanently disabled, and legally incapacitated,” but Wendy’s not having any of it. She’s been shutting down those claims faster than a bad Hot Topics segment.
Moral of the story? Wendy Williams is still That Girl.
