SZA and Taylor Swift might be cooking up something magical in the studio! Or at least, they’ve talked about it, which is the first step in any major world-altering event (or a really good jam session).
While visiting The Jennifer Hudson Show on Friday (March 21), SZA—queen of celestial bangers and making you question your entire existence at 2 a.m.—spilled the tea. Turns out, she and Taylor Swift—CEO of heartbreak anthems and surprise album drops—have discussed teaming up to create something legendary.
The revelation came after Jennifer Hudson whipped out a photo of SZA and Taylor posing at the 2025 Grammys, where they were probably manifesting a Billboard-smashing, TikTok-dominating, exes-trembling collaboration.
“Every time she walks up to me or approaches me, I’m just like, ‘All right, this is happening, because that’s fully Taylor Swift,’” SZA confessed, basically summarizing how we’d all react if Swift casually strolled up to us.
SZA then added that she told Taylor she’d love to write with her and “build some things together.” (Unclear if she meant songs or an actual empire, but either way, we support it.)
“I love her storytelling. She was open to it. I think she’s awesome. She’s so bossed up,” SZA gushed, which is basically the chillest way to say, Taylor Swift is an unstoppable force and I would like to join forces with her, please and thank you.
