Rachel Zegler has officially wrapped up her “talk-about-Snow-White-on-repeat” tour, and in the grand finale, she’s getting deep about what the fairy tale actually means. Spoiler: it’s not just about apples and unsolicited kisses.
The 23-year-old actress kicked off her big day of explaining things on Good Morning America this Thursday (March 20) in New York City.
Then, because her schedule wasn’t packed enough, she popped over to a special screening at the Whitby Hotel, where she met some tiny humans dressed as Snow White—which must be trippy when you are Snow White. Imagine walking into a room and seeing 10 versions of yourself. Existential crisis, much?
Rachel’s One Wish: World, Please Chill
While on GMA, Rachel was hit with the ultimate philosophical question from a young girl: If you got one of Snow White’s magical wishes, what would it be?
Now, she could’ve gone for unlimited snacks or a private island, but no. Rachel is classy and went full-on world peace mode.
“I think it would be that everybody was kinder to each other,” she said, giving the kind of answer that makes Miss Universe contestants sweat. “I think everybody needs that nowadays, that we set aside our differences because what we can inherit by putting aside the things we disagree on is bigger than any of us can ever imagine.”
Basically, be nice and you might just unlock some next-level global enlightenment.
So, What’s Snow White Really About?
No, it’s not about how easily forest animals can befriend you if you sing dramatically in the woods.
Rachel broke it down: “This movie is for the inner child in all of us, but also for the actual next generation. It’s about understanding what’s really fair—which is kindness. It’s not about how you look, not about the color of your skin, it’s really just about being kind and using the voice that is in your heart.”
Basically, Snow White is less about dwarves and more about Disney magic + life lessons.
Rachel Zegler, serving up fairy tale wisdom like a true queen. 👑✨
Now, go forth and be nice to people. Or at least don’t cut them off in traffic.
