Rachel Zegler, the 23-year-old starlet who’s making waves and stealing hearts faster than you can say “Romeo + Juliet,” recently partied it up in New York with not one, but two leading men by her side—because one just isn’t enough when you’re Rachel! Her real-life boyfriend, Josh Andres Rivera, was there being all supportive and dreamy, and her on-stage love Kit Connor was like, “Hey, I can smolder in real life, too!”
This wasn’t just any regular Sunday shindig at Saint Theo’s in New York, oh no. This was a party to celebrate Rachel’s Variety Magazine cover and remind us all that she’s not only a superstar but also probably on a first-name basis with the photographer by now. And if that wasn’t enough, the bash was also part of the New Power of New York List celebration, because apparently, Rachel can’t attend an event unless it’s super exclusive and dripping in accolades. She was also seen casually hanging with friends Kathryn Gallagher and Ella Hunt, because stars—they’re just like us! (Except their friends are also stars.)
Rachel, as if she doesn’t have enough on her plate, is also currently starring on Broadway opposite Kit Connor in a brand-new production of Romeo + Juliet at the Circle in the Square Theatre. Of course, it’s already a smash hit, with the first week of preview performances selling out faster than you can say “Wherefore art thou, Romeo?” (Hint: Probably in line for tickets.) In fact, the demand was so high that they added more dates because who wouldn’t want to see star-crossed lovers live on stage, up close and personal?
And speaking of up close, they just announced that a limited number of floor seats will be available for every performance, because why just watch a play when you can have the actors basically perform it in your lap? It’s like Shakespeare meets a mosh pit, but with more doublets and soliloquies.
