Kesha and Victoria Justice walked into a party this week, and no, this isn’t the setup for a joke. Though it might as well be because what happened next was pure comedy gold.
The pair attended Spotify’s 2024 Wrapped celebration on Thursday night at Nya East in Los Angeles, proving that even when we’re all sick of seeing pie charts of everyone’s questionable music taste, Spotify throws a bash big enough to make us forgive it. Kesha performed, HAIM DJ’d, and the vibes were immaculate. Somewhere between the cocktails and confetti, a new friendship was born—or rekindled, depending on your interpretation of again.
After the event, Victoria Justice, in full #GratefulQueen mode, hit Twitter with a heartfelt thank-you post, gushing about Spotify, her fans, and—of course—the ever-iconic Kesha. She tweeted:
“Thanks for having me @Spotify ♥️ Hugeee thank you to all of you who have streamed my music this year. Seeing all your Spotify Wrapped posts means so much to me. Thank you for letting me be a part of your listening experience. 🥹🙏🏼 ALSO @KeshaRose you’re an icon—you crushed it 🌟.”
Kesha, being Kesha, decided to keep it 100% real in her reply. She fired back:
“can i come do blow at your house again sometime?”
Yes. Kesha casually asked Victoria Justice if she could swing by for a little… recreational activity. Again. AGAIN! We’re left with so many questions, but the main one is: when did this even happen the first time?
Picture it: Victoria Justice’s house, pristine white couches, and maybe a Himalayan salt lamp or two for aesthetic. Enter Kesha, glittered to the gods and possibly armed with some very questionable party favors. Did this already unfold like an indie film we’ll never get to see? Is there unreleased footage somewhere of Victoria trying to politely explain that her throw pillows don’t respond well to powdered substances?
But let’s not gloss over the fact that Kesha’s tweet managed to overshadow the entire Spotify party AND every overly detailed Wrapped post on your timeline. The internet, naturally, had a meltdown. Some fans speculated that Kesha’s comment was just her signature chaotic humor. Others assumed she might’ve been referencing an inside joke. And the rest of us? We’re just imagining Victoria nervously refreshing her DMs.
Victoria, ever the pro, has yet to respond. Maybe she’s drafting a reply. Maybe she’s Googling “how to decline a bold request without sounding like a narc.” Or maybe she’s busy scrubbing her coffee table just in case.
One thing’s for sure: if Kesha does get an invite, that house party’s about to be legendary. Or at least trending.
