Jennifer Lawrence is now officially a door-to-door cheerleader for Kamala Harris, and she’s taking this role very seriously, people!
The 34-year-old actress, award-winner, and resident Hollywood jokester (oh, and also currently baking her second little bun in the oven), strutted her way to Las Vegas, Nevada, on Friday (November 1) to try her hand at some good old-fashioned door-knocking. Why? To rally some love for 60-year-old Vice President Kamala Harris before the 2024 showdown of an election. Now, if you ever thought you’d open your front door to find J-Law herself grinning on your doorstep, welcome to Las Vegas in 2024.
Jennifer’s big campaign adventure started at a field office where she met Nevada’s Democratic regional organizing director, Craig Bakerjian, and an army of volunteers ready to storm the city’s front porches. There’s nothing like kicking off your day with a bunch of strangers armed with clipboards, right? Jennifer and her squad then hit the streets, spreading the “Vote Kamala” gospel and reminding folks to check that box on Election Day.
After putting in some cardio time on the pavement, the team marched over to Mothership Coffee Roasters—because no campaigning is complete without a solid caffeine break, obviously. There, they were joined by Senator Jacky Rosen and Juanny Romero, CEO of Mothership, who was clearly the real MVP for hosting them. Over sandwiches and coffee, a roundtable discussion ensued, including first-time voters, small business owners, and the “do you know how many doors I just knocked on?” Jennifer Lawrence.
The talk? All about the power of voting and the hope that someday, everyone will get along and hold hands across the aisle. It was a heartwarming mix of bipartisan dreams, meaningful discussions, and Nevada voters politely nodding while nibbling on muffins.
As Election Day approaches on Tuesday, November 5, it’s safe to say Jennifer Lawrence will not be giving up her “Vote for Kamala” pom-poms anytime soon. If there’s one takeaway here, it’s that J-Law could very well be knocking on your door next—so, you know, maybe have some snacks ready.
