Nope, turns out she was Hillary Hayward-Thomas from Boston. BOSTON. Where the only accent is “wicked” and the closest thing to Spanish heritage is Taco Tuesday at Chipotle.
Apparently, Hillary grew up as American as apple pie—well, more like Boston cream pie—but spent a few summers in Spain, which clearly qualifies you for a full personality overhaul. She even gave all her kids names like Carmen and Rafael, as if she’s running some sort of Baldwin International Academy of Flamenco.

Let’s talk about the legendary how you say… cucumber incident. Back in the day, Hilaria was on Today making gazpacho (because of course she was). While listing ingredients, she hit us with:
“How do you say it in English? Cucumbers?”

Just when we thought we’d seen the last of Señorita Baldwin, she reemerges—like a phoenix rising from the ashes of her fake backstory. This time, Hilaria was in a social media cooking video, whipping up what she claimed was a “traditional Spanish dish.” Naturally, she gave us another dose of her ancestral wisdom:
“I learned this from when I was a kid, don’t look it up online because you’ll learn something different.”
Classic move: gatekeeping recipes and reality. Then, in the middle of the video, it happened. History repeated itself, not as tragedy, but as farce:
