The “Without Me” diva, who’s basically the queen of catchy tunes and glam, threw a digital confetti explosion on Thursday (September 12) to celebrate her engagement. It all started when someone on social media called her 32-year-old beau her “boyfriend” – and Halsey was like, “Hold my coffee, we need a correction here!” So, she swooped in with a dramatic “***fiancé Avan Jogia” and a virtual mic drop.
Earlier that day, while rocking the red carpet like it was her personal runway, Halsey chatted with E! News about their marital future. When asked if wedding bells were in their future, she gave a dreamy “I hope so,” as if she was already picturing herself in a dress made entirely of sparkles.
“Avan is the best,” she gushed. “He’s like the human version of a warm blanket and a cup of hot cocoa combined. Every day with him is like hanging out with my favorite person in the world – and that person just happens to be my best friend.”
And guess what? Avan’s not just winning over Halsey. He’s also best buddies with her three-year-old son, Ender, who’s basically the coolest kid ever (and, let’s be honest, probably has the best taste in friends). “They’re inseparable,” Halsey shared, which means Avan’s officially passed the ultimate test: being adored by tiny humans.
The dynamic duo first popped up on the radar in September 2023 and made their relationship Insta-official in October 2023. So, here’s to them – may their love story continue to sparkle brighter than Halsey’s sequined outfits!
