Gracie Abrams and Taylor Swift had an unforgettable, laugh-out-loud night as they cooked up some hot new tunes – and a kitchen fire!
Gracie, 24, is about to drop her new album *The Secret of Us* later this week. It’s got a track titled “Us” featuring none other than Taylor, 34, herself.
While hyping up the album, Gracie shared the hilarious story of how they crafted the duet in Taylor’s apartment, which ended with a minor blaze.
Gracie spilled to Billboard that she was chilling at Taylor’s place “well past 6am” after they finished the song. They were kicking back with dinner and drinks when a rogue candle decided to set the kitchen ablaze.
“She was such a legend – I mean, at that hour and in our state, how did she even know what to do?” Gracie laughed. “We both had an insane cough from the fire extinguisher fumes for weeks.”
Before their night literally went up in flames, Gracie said they managed to sneak in a sneak peek of each other’s new jams.
She said they were singing and dancing “like theater kids” to Taylor’s banger “But Daddy I Love Him” before ending up “lying on the floor in disbelief” after jamming to “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived.”
