Jason Knauf is breaking his silence—and not in a dramatic, slow-motion, tell-all way. More like a casual “Yep, still stand by it” kind of way.
The ex-royal advisor, best known for accusing Meghan Markle of bullying junior palace staff back in ye olde 2018, sat down for an interview with 60 Minutes Australia, because apparently, we’re still talking about this.
When asked how he feels about the “Meghan made palace life hard” saga all these years later, Jason hit us with the ultimate power move: zero regrets.
“I wouldn’t change anything,” he declared, before casually throwing in, “I think it’s tough, but it’s probably quite good.”
Ah yes, the words of a man who has been through the Twitter wars and survived.
Jason, who once worked super-duper closely with Harry and Meghan (back when they were still royal regulars), insists that despite the drama, they actually had some good times.
“You know, as someone who has been helping other people through how to deal with the public eye, you probably have to take your own medicine sometimes,” he chuckled.
Translation: I knew what I was getting into, but here we are.
He then went on to drop some royal workplace wisdom: “You can’t choose just to take the fun stuff in any job.” Which, fair point—every workplace has its downsides. Some people deal with Karen in accounting; others deal with duchesses with allegedly strong management styles.
And just to keep things classy, Jason made sure to end with a no-hard-feelings note: “I wish them absolutely all the best with their lovely family.”
Of course, the whole Meghan vs. The Palace drama started in 2018 when Jason, fresh off a trip with the Sussexes, filed an official complaint. The allegations conveniently popped up three years later—just before Meghan and Harry’s explosive Oprah interview—because timing is everything in royal tea-spilling.
Jason’s original concern? That Meghan allegedly bullied two PAs straight out of the palace. And honestly, if we’ve learned anything about royal exits, it’s that quitting is kind of a hobby over there.
So, does Jason regret stirring the pot? Nope. Would he do it all over again? Absolutely. And in the great game of royal drama, that’s what we call commitment to the bit.
