Marvel just dropped the first teaser trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps, and it’s got everything—retro vibes, space suits, and a noticeable lack of one very stretchy superpower.
Starring Pedro Pascal (your internet daddy), Vanessa Kirby (majestic queen energy), Joseph Quinn (rock god turned fire god), and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (our favorite grumpy genius), the trailer gives us a sneak peek at three of the four heroes flexing their superhuman abilities.
🔹 Sue Storm? Boom. Vanishes like your ex when it’s time to split the check.
🔹 Ben Grimm? A walking boulder with emotions. The original “built different” guy.
🔹 Johnny Storm? Literally on fire. Probably won’t pass airport security.
🔹 Reed Richards? Uhhh… did he forget to warm up? No stretchy action in sight!
The whole thing is drenched in a groovy 1960s aesthetic, complete with a space launch that looks straight out of NASA’s glory days. Marvel is really committing to the throwback vibes—no word yet on if the soundtrack will include a Beatles deep cut or just eerie sci-fi beeps.
Oh, and let’s not forget Julia Garner, who’s cruising in as the Silver Surfer (shiny, mysterious, probably listens to existential podcasts), plus John Malkovich and Natasha Lyonne, who will no doubt bring their signature “I know something you don’t” energy to the mix.
