The 31-year-old rap sensation dropped this bombshell on social media Thursday (August 1), right as TMZ was breaking the news that she’s done the ol’ break-up tango with her on-again, off-again beau Offset for the second time.
She kicked off her announcement with a heartfelt message straight out of a Hallmark card:
“With every plot twist comes a brand-new sequel!” she declared.
“I’m over the moon to have shared this chapter with you. You’ve gifted me more love, more life, and most importantly, a whole lotta sass! You’ve shown me that I can totally have my cake and eat it too! You’ve made me realize that I don’t have to pick between a full life, heart-melting romance, and my red-hot career! I adore you and can’t wait for you to see what you’ve helped me pull off, what you’ve nudged me to achieve! Navigating life’s roller coasters is a breeze when you’re lying down, but you, your sibling squad, and your entire crew have shown me why it’s worth fighting through the bumps and bruises!”
The dynamic duo already has two tiny humans in their brood: Kulture, who’s 6 and currently the reigning queen of the playground, and Wave, who’s 2 and probably mastering the art of tantrums.
TMZ’s inside sources spill that this latest separation isn’t due to any sneaky business, but rather because “they’ve been drifting apart for ages…just not vibing anymore.”
