So picture this: Bebe Rexha, a literal glittering goddess, rolls up to the 2025 Met Gala looking like a delicious slice of couture cake baked by Christian Siriano himself — and the internet? The internet decided to be the internet and go full troll mode. Again.
Bebe, 35 years young and still out-singing half your faves, hit X (aka Twitter, but with an identity crisis) with a now-deleted string of messages that were equal parts heartfelt and heartbreak hotel.
And whew, she did not come to play.
“I’m so tired of people commenting on my weight,” she wrote, probably while sipping tea and resisting the urge to throw her phone into the sun.
Then she dropped this gut punch:
“I have PCOS and struggle with infertility.”
And then, like a queen airing out her soul while the peasants gossiped in the background, she shared:
“I got pregnant, and it didn’t work out. And I’ve been carrying that pain in silence.”
Cue the sound of a million keyboards going silent and one lone troll slowly backing out of the chat.
Bebe also clarified that she didn’t owe anyone this info — which, facts — but hoped maybe the trolls would “think twice” before coming for literally anyone’s body.
Now, if that wasn’t enough drama for your Tuesday, let’s talk about Miss Azealia Banks who decided to pop out of whatever crystal cave she lives in to say that Bebe looked like “hormonal birth control implant or something…” which is, like… what does that even mean, ma’am???
Bebe’s response? Oh, sweetie — it was the roast of the century served with a side of self-care:
“You might wanna jump on some type of therapy, sis,” she wrote, calmly decimating Banks’ ego in 12 words or less. “Lexapro worked great for me. Something that helps with the deep rooted sadness and chaos you keep projecting. Healing looks good on everyone. Try it.”
BOOM. That sound? Just Azealia’s Wi-Fi disconnecting itself in shame.
Then, like a true queen who delivered the drama, the honesty, AND the clapbacks, Bebe wrapped it all up with:
“Ok I’m gonna go and enjoy my day now. Have a good day everyone, love you.”
That’s right. Bebe Rexha dropped emotional truth bombs, fended off troll attacks, shut down a hater, AND still made time to send the haters love. Iconic behavior.
Side note: she was previously linked to Simos Liakos (an architectural engineer, aka hot guy who builds stuff) and Keyan Safyari (a filmmaker, aka hot guy who films stuff). Girl’s got taste!
Ok I’m gonna go and enjoy my day now ♥️
Have a good day everyone love you.— Bebe Rexha (@BebeRexha) May 6, 2025
