Bad Bunny And Austin Butler Spotted Filming ‘Caught Stealing’ In New York City

Buy Me A Coffee

Austin Butler and Bad Bunny have officially teamed up to steal everything—except your wallets, probably. Filming for their new movie Caught Stealing has kicked off, and the paparazzi are already on the prowl like hungry raccoons at a backyard BBQ. On Wednesday night (yes, night shoots because they’re that cool), our favorite Elvis impersonator—aka Austin Butler, 33—was spotted alongside global music sensation and occasional hair-dye experimenter, Bad Bunny, 30, in New York City.

But wait, there’s more! Regina King, the queen herself, was also on set, probably wondering how she got roped into a film starring a guy who played Elvis and another guy who has a stage name that sounds like he’s late for Easter.

Now, let’s talk about the biggest revelation: Bad Bunny has a new look! This man went full fire emoji with dark red hair AND a matching beard. You heard me—he’s now a walking, talking, singing human cherry. We’re all just wondering how long it’ll be before someone mistakes him for a giant lozenge.

The movie is under the directorial eye of Darren Aronofsky—yes, the same dude who made you question your life choices after watching Black Swan. This time, though, he’s adapting the Charlie Huston novel Caught Stealing, where Butler plays Hank Thompson, a former baseball star who’s now more burned out than your last attempt at making toast. And, as expected in any action-thriller set in ’90s New York, Hank stumbles into a criminal underworld, because apparently, that’s what people did in the ‘90s if they weren’t busy wearing flannel and obsessing over Nirvana.

But don’t worry, Austin’s not alone in this crime-filled adventure. The cast is stacked higher than a Jenga tower with stars like Zoe Kravitz, Matt Smith, Will Brill, and Liev Schreiber. Bad Bunny just rolled into this A-list crew like a fashionable tornado in late August, and we’re all here for it.

So buckle up, because Caught Stealing is shaping up to be the wildest heist since your last trip to the vending machine!
