Spotted: One Gossip Girl heartthrob and one Bollywood beauty officially entering parenthood. That’s right, folks—Ed Westwick and Amy Jackson just welcomed their first baby, meaning there’s now an even tinier version of Chuck Bass out there, scheming for milk and world domination.
The 37-year-old smoldering Brit and the 33-year-old Madrasapattinam actress took to Instagram on Monday (March 24) to share the exciting news, just months after officially saying “I do” in 2024. Clearly, they wasted no time expanding the Westwick empire.
Introducing… the Next King of the Upper East Side
“Welcome to the world, baby boy,” Ed posted, revealing the name of their bundle of joy: Oscar Alexander Westwick 🤍. Sounds like a name fit for a future CEO, luxury brand owner, or at the very least, a child who’ll refuse to wear anything but cashmere onesies.
A Love Story Worthy of a Netflix Rom-Com
The couple tied the knot in Italy in August 2024, sealing the deal after two years of dating. But how did this love story begin? Buckle up, because it’s straight out of a high-speed romantic thriller.
Back in 2021, fate (and Aston Martin) brought them together at the Silverstone racetrack. Ed, likely channeling his inner Chuck Bass, saw Amy and thought, “It’s game time.”
“I saw her and thought, ‘I’m going to make my move!’” he recalled, undoubtedly with a suave eyebrow raise. But plot twist—Amy smoked him on the track.
“She beat me,” Ed admitted. “Her lap time was a lot better than mine! She’s been making my heart race from day one!” Translation: Amy pulled up, left him in the dust, and he fell in love instantly.
If that wasn’t enough of a coincidence, they were both looking to move to Hampstead at the same time. “I promise!” Ed added, which sounds suspiciously like what someone says when they totally planned to “accidentally” bump into their crush.
Now, just a few years later, they’ve got a tiny new roommate who doesn’t pay rent but gets endless kisses.
Congrats to the New Parents!
We can only imagine little Oscar’s first words:
🍼 “I am baby.”
🍼 “Where’s my Aston Martin?”
🍼 Or perhaps a perfectly executed, smirky ‘I’m Chuck Bass.’
Either way, congrats to the Westwicks—parenthood looks XOXO exciting! 💙✨
