Kelly Clarkson has been missing from The Kelly Clarkson Show for days now, and fans are officially panicking. Did she get lost in a Target Supercenter? Did she challenge Adele to a singing battle and lose her voice in the process? Did she simply say, “You know what? Y’all got this,” and peace out? The world may never know.
On March 3, Simu Liu, aka Marvel’s finest, was thrown into the hosting chair so fast, he didn’t even have time to blink.
“Kelly isn’t able to make it today. We’re sending her our very best. I did not know that I was doing this until about five minutes ago when I arrived to promote my new movie Last Breath,” he admitted, possibly still processing the shock. “I’m here now, and look, I’m not one to back down from a challenge.” Translation: I had no choice, but here we are.
Kelly did make a dramatic comeback on March 4—only to vanish again like a magician at a kids’ birthday party.
Since then, it’s been a rotating door of guest hosts, including Jason Derulo (presumably without tripping down the stairs), Bollywood queen Nora Fatehi, comedian Roy Wood Jr., Wanda Sykes (who is probably making everyone cry from laughter), and singer Josh Groban (who is likely serenading the audience into a trance).
So, where is Kelly Clarkson? Did she finally take that well-deserved vacation, or is she secretly training for an underground karaoke battle league? Nobody knows. But stay tuned, because if she doesn’t reappear soon, we might have to send out a search party—possibly led by Blake Shelton.
