Wendy Williams is about to make a grand exit from her conservatorship, and honey, she’s got no time for nonsense!
The 60-year-old media queen—who has spent the past couple of years under a court-ordered guardianship due to a diagnosis of primary progressive aphasia and frontotemporal dementia—is now in full not-on-my-watch mode. She’s fighting tooth and acrylic to reclaim her independence and is not here for claims that she is “cognitively impaired, permanently disabled, and legally incapacitated.” In other words, she’s saying, Don’t play with me!
And what’s the first thing on Wendy’s agenda when she finally gets her freedom papers? Love, travel, and living her best life—duh!
In a recent chat with IconicHipster.com, Wendy declared, “I can’t wait to fall in love… I will not lie about that.” Which means suitors, line up! But be warned—she’s not settling for just anyone. Only the best of the best need apply.
But that’s not all! Wendy is ready to jet-set and reclaim her throne in NYC. “When I get out of the situation, I’m staying in New York where I’m comfortable,” she said. “I’ll be in New York and I’ll be flying, and I would love to go back to Paris. The food is good.” That’s right, the Eiffel Tower better prepare for an iconic Wendy Williams sighting!
And in true Wendy fashion, she made sure to remind the world that she’s still that girl. “I am gorgeous. I am successful at what I’ve done,” she proclaimed. “I’m successful so far, what’s going on in my life, despite what you might think. I mean, everything isn’t peaches and cream, but there’s some roses over here, darling.”
Translation: The comeback is coming, the wigs are staying laid, and Wendy Williams is about to remind everybody exactly who she is. How you doin’?
