David Beckham is basically a Swiss Army knife of talents, and his wife, Victoria Beckham, is all about showing off his skills—and his looks!
The fashion diva, who just hit the big 5-0, treated her 33 million Instagram followers to a hilarious spectacle of her retired soccer legend hubby, 49, planting pink roses on one of their properties on Saturday, June 8.
“Alright, it’s just your average Saturday in the countryside. David’s out here playing gardener,” Victoria narrated, with a cheeky tone.
“You look good!” she exclaimed, zooming in on David’s behind encased in a pair of cuffed jeans as he wielded a shovel. He was also sporting a hat and a matching olive T-shirt—total garden chic.
“That’s love, gardening,” the former Spice Girl quipped, after David thanked her for the compliment.
“Happy weekend!!!!” Victoria scrawled across the video, clearly thrilled with her husband’s outdoor antics.
In the next clip, David was getting down to business, transferring roses from a pot to the ground, barefoot and all.
“Here we go, we have some action,” Victoria announced, as David huffed and puffed, fighting with the dirt. “Oh, it’s crumbling.”
After some struggle, David triumphed, successfully planting the rose and patting the soil down with a flourish before giving the camera his best “I’m amazing” look.
“By the way, that’s impressive,” he said, giving himself a pat on the back.
“It is impressive,” Victoria echoed, throwing in an “Impressive!!” text overlay for good measure.
“You look good,” she reiterated, zooming in on his bum again, because why not?
The grand finale of this gardening saga was a photo of David kneeling next to the freshly planted roses, shovel in hand, looking like he just conquered Everest.
When he’s not moonlighting as a gardener, the Inter Miami soccer team co-founder is hanging out with their 12-year-old daughter, Harper.
The dynamic duo started the month by cheering on the Miami team against St. Louis City SC in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., on Sunday, June 1.
David and Victoria’s crew also includes their older sons: Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 21, and Cruz, 19. This family sure knows how to keep things interesting!
