For decades, Wheel of Fortune has been the go-to show for people who love word puzzles but refuse to play Scrabble with their families. And at the heart of it all? The ageless wonder herself, Vanna White, who has been elegantly strutting across that stage since 1982, pressing buttons and making letters glow like some sort of glamorous sorceress.
But hold on to your vowels, because Vanna just dropped a bombshell that left fans absolutely flabbergasted. Are you ready for this?
She only works 34 days a year.
That’s right. Thirty. Four. Days.
In an interview on Elvis Duran and the Morning Show, Vanna casually mentioned, “We film about 34 days a year,” and the co-hosts nearly choked on their morning coffee.
“That’s it,” she continued. “But we do six shows a day. Come on. Feel bad for me.”
Six shows in one day? That’s six wardrobe changes! More outfit swaps than a Taylor Swift concert!
Co-host Danielle Monaro pointed out the obvious: “That’s six different dresses a day.” To which Vanna, the queen of effortless elegance, simply nodded like it was no big deal.
Then, another host hit her with some math: “That means you have 331 days off per year.”
Vanna, who had apparently never done the math before, paused for a second before responding, “Yes, I guess so. I’ve never looked at it like that.”
Imagine having almost an entire year off and not realizing it. Meanwhile, the rest of us are out here practically crying into our keyboards on our seventh Zoom call of the day.
Honestly? Vanna White is living the dream, and I respect it.
